ETCR EM8100B Transformer Core Earth Current Tester, also known as transformer core grounding parameter tester and grounding current tester, is used to test the grounding current and leakage current of transformer core in power systems.The instrument consists of a host, a current clamp, monitoring software, a communication line, etc.Power transformers are important electrical equipment in the power system. Once they fail in operation, they will have serious consequences for the power system.The core of the transformer in normal operation is grounded at a single point. If two or more points are grounded at the same time, a current loop will be formed between the core and the earth, with a maximum current of tens of amperes, which will cause the core to overheat or even burn down.This instrument can detect latent faults of the transformer as soon as possible, and is the main tool to ensure the safe operation and normal maintenance of the transformer.The instrument has anti-interference ability and can be applied to use in an environment with strong magnetic field interference next to the transformer.It is mainly suitable for leakage current testing of iron cores and clamps of electrical equipment such as transformers and reactors in substations and power plants.It can also be used for current and leakage current testing of lines or equipment in the fields of electric power, communications, meteorology, railways, oil fields, construction, metrology, scientific research and teaching units, industrial and mining enterprises, etc.
ETCR EM8100B Transformer Core Earth Current Tester adopts a high-speed microprocessor, a 3.5-inch color touch LCD screen, and a Chinese interface for easy and fast operation.It can display the size and waveform of the measured current in real time; it has the function of setting the alarm threshold value and alarm indication; it has the function of date clock and setting; it has the function of automatic shutdown; it has the function of setting the test product number; it has a USB interface, which can import the stored data into the computer, and the instrument can store 200 sets of data and waveforms.
