ETCR EM1400B Overhead Line Ground Fault Detector, also known as dichotomous method overhead line ground fault locator, overhead line single-phase ground fault detector, small current ground fault locator and cable equipped dedicated overhead line fault locator, which is suitable for detecting single-phase grounding fault on overhead high-voltage line no longer than 25 kilometers, and can accurately locate and explore the grounding fault point (the overhead line should be stopped operating when detecting). The detector is suitable for bare cable or cable with insulation sheath, accurately find concealed earth faults such as single phase metallic grounding, intermittent arc grounding, intermittent transition resistor grounding, porcelain bottle breakdown and lightning arrester breakdown of overhead high voltage line.

ETCR EM1400B Overhead Line Ground Fault Detector is consisted of host, current clamp, transmitting terminal, interphase connection terminal, test line, grounding pin, insulating rod and accessories. The host adopt with 7 inch true-color screen, which can make the fault data explicit and test result clear and obvious. The host has voice broadcast function, voice prompts operation step, test result and the direction of line fault, which makes on-site operation easier. The structure of current clamp and transmitting terminal is compact, small in size, light in weight, and easy to install, one installation can complete line fault detection, with simple and fast operation, greatly reducing test workload and improving work efficiency. The detector also has Bluetooth communication function and USB communication interface.

ETCR EM1400B Overhead Line Ground Fault Detector can locate ground fault of multiple line. After the overhead line stopping operating, the transmitting terminal applies low frequency high voltage signal to the line, the current clamp detecting the signal of cable. The tested result will be displayed on the LCD screen of host and broadcast in voice by analyzing the pulse current and impedance of the host and judging whether there is grounding fault. Adopt with dichotomy to test section by section, quickly approach the fault point from the middle of line to both sides, and then determine the fault location.
